“The bad guys won in WWII. There were no ‘good guys’ in that war. The controlling interests had a jump ball. If you look closely, you see the link between liberalism and communism in the Allied forces.”

Just another demented MAGA turd trying to sound intelligent. All the buzzwords are there to keep the base frothing at the mouth: liberal, controlling interest/deep state, bad, communism.

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 80 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

"both sides" too

E.g.:

Being genocidal racist fascists

Or...

Wanting affordable healthcare for all Americans and therefore being "communist"

How does one choose between such evils?

[–] Frozengyro@lemmy.world 35 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

It's a fucking Nazi coward afraid to speak their true feelings. They say both sides, pretending they feel both were bad, but you can see their real opinion.

[–] jaemo@sh.itjust.works 18 points 1 month ago (1 children)

If you look closely

Holy fuck that is funny. As though an analysis of factual information were even in the realm of speculative potential for the republican brain.

He's clever. It's a great joke.

[–] match@pawb.social 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

perhaps it takes them great mental investiture to see the link between the soviet union and communism

[–] WaxedWookie@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I know I struggle to see the link between the Soviet Union and communism, but I suppose that's what I get for getting my definitions of words from the dictionary.

Good old GOP, still sending their best.

In one specific interaction from Monday, White told a potential voter to “pull their skirt down” and that “nobody cares about your preferences,” to which the voter replied “f— you then! You just lost my families support.”

Guy can't even take care of his own family.

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer@lemmy.world 18 points 1 month ago

His wife had "options" thanks to the liberal commies.

[–] nilloc@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 1 month ago

Paying child support? Sounds like redistribution of wealth to me. Let the kids fend for themselves in the free market!

A second Black Nazi has hit the GOP.

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 37 points 1 month ago

Is this the same guy who flipped out about the word “weird” with tons of posts about trans people like a demented moron? Looks similar.

Oh yeah, Hitler loved mixed race citizens 😆🤣👍

This dude’s relatives would have been gassed and cremated or introduced into a life of indentured servitude had his revisionist fantasy come to fruition.

Dude thinks because his last name is “White” that he is white.

[–] ThePantser@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (4 children)

Wait so that means Jack Black isn't black? What about Lewis Black or Jack White?

[–] Baggins 8 points 1 month ago

What about Ian Lavender?

Don't even get me started on Chubby Checker.

[–] bizzle@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Barry White, Frank Black

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 2 points 1 month ago

[–] ByteOnBikes@slrpnk.net 14 points 1 month ago

Is there some sort of training which teaches you how to be a grifter?

Because this 2024 class is full of people imitating Uncle Ruckuses.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

we need a time machine if for no other reason than to send dumbasses like that back to experience reality for themselves

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Not even worth putting the time into writing why his opinion is based on imagined idiocy and not historic fact thinking the liberals and communists were aligned after WW2 at the start of the cold war and the Warsaw pact and NATO squaring off or Patton was assassinated, just a grand display of the best and brightest moron Minnesota conservatives have to offer.

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

There needs to be a word for "shocking and expected"

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

But we have a pretty decent education system in MN. Maybe not the best, but far from the worst.

[–] xploit@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

To a degree yeah, bunch of them made it to US and went unpunished and now spew this shit.
(edit: or obviously whoever heard them and thought "Hmm yes yes genocide and stuff great ideas dad/grandad/friend/whatever." Probably can't even specify if it's the Nazis or Russians since they would have rather worked together, until the backstab...

[–] alcoholicorn@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

they would have rather worked together

The USSR spent the 30s trying to form an alliance with literally everyone in Europe to fight the guys who declared communism their enemy. The western allies expected Germany and Poland to invade the USSR, for them fascism was the answer to communism, hence why they gave the Sudetenland to Germany and Poland, made the Anglo-German declaration of 1938, and why Britain tried to join the Winter War, but was only stopped by Sweden refusing transit.

The USSR wasn't trying to work with Germany, they were taking the only path that would give them time to build up and draw the rest of Europe into its war with Germany.

Err, that was your side my dude, like wtf?

[–] Hegar@fedia.io 1 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Sure, there are no good guys in any war, since the good guys are never the ones with guns killing each other.

But the more genocidal death camps you have, the bigger a baddy you are. It's not that difficult to understand.

[–] kata1yst@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Wow. If you can't see which side was good in WW2, I'm seriously concerned for you.

[–] Hegar@fedia.io 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I'm Jewish, I'm very aware that the side running brutal racist internment camps was meaningfully less bad than the side running brutal genocidal death camps. Neither qualify as good.

[–] kata1yst@sh.itjust.works -1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The Axis existed as a coalition of countries who wanted to expand their lands at the cost of their neighbor's lives.

The Allies existed purely as a defensive response to the Axis.

A person with a gun fighting to defend their families is not "just as evil" as a person with a gun invading the home of others. Before we even get into camps, unethical medical research, and genocide, you really can't "both sides" this one.

[–] Hegar@fedia.io -1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I don't think it's fair to characterize global colonialist powers like Britain, France, or the US as not violent expansionists.

[–] kata1yst@sh.itjust.works 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Don't put words in my mouth.

I characterized the Allies actions as a defensive response. And they provably were not violently expanding during WW2. I didn't say a word about their actions and behaviors prior to WW2.

The fuck do you suggest "good people" do facing invasion? Lay down and let the Axis steal, rape, murder, and genocide their way through Europe?

Good people fight back against bad people. Saying or doing anything less is to be complicit in their actions.

[–] Hegar@fedia.io 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Apologies.

But if being a violent expansionist makes the axis bad (which it obviously does) then the allies are clearly just less bad in this particular situation rather than actually good, since all the allied powers have extensive histories of violent expansionism.

[–] kata1yst@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Thank you.

I'm not saying you don't have a point, but the people are not their countries, their ancestors choices, or their governments, and vice versa. I fundamentally reject the premise of your argument.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Inaction is as much a choice as action. When an invader comes to your town and starts killing innocents like children, and you chose to not act, you’re a little bit complicit.

Pacifists are just as unethical as the rest, because it allows, permits and other condones violence.
