/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Fun will now commence.

"Do you think we can just replicate you some Windex?"

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 8 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I bet the pattern buffers on DS9 are all chock full of Windex.

He uses the buffer for more than just people he hates/likes. He’s got all sorts of stuff in there. Like all the stuff his wife told him to throw out.

When she makes him eat vegetarian, he goes to work, pulls out a freshly-cooked T-bone steak, and just eats it there in the transporter room. Nobody ever transports that early in the morning.

Not gonna lie: I would absolutely use the pattern buffer as my own personal junk drawer. I'd have a pattern buffer full of those portable pattern buffers from Discovery. Each of those full of random stuff I'd otherwise carry if I could.

"Why, yes, I do need my kayak with me at all times. You never know when you might need that!"

Hell, I'd probably work out how to turn the pattern buffer into a man cave. 😆

Or if I'm ever in a sticky situation, pull a Dale Gribble "Pocket Sand" but with a pattern buffer full of junk that all comes out at once.

It's like a Bag of Holding!

Love the comics.

Small feedback: could you make the text a little bigger relative to the image? On my tiny phone I have to zoom in to every panel individually to read it.

They are not my comics. I'm publishing them from the source (https://chiefobrienatwork.com/).

Hahaha. I feel dumber than a ferengi who can’t remember the rules of acquisition.

Thanks for your service!

Lock on to all dust aboard the enterprise, then beam into a pattern buffer.
