She was a law clerk for Kavanaugh and then Roberts. People like her and Turtle McConnell's wife (also Asian) aren't dumb, they just don't give a fuck because the racism from the hoi polloi GOP voters won't touch them.

Yeah, was using “fried chicken” as an example just a coincidence? In theory, it could be just a random food that came to mind but given that Harris is Black and Indian, it’s seems super likely that there have been racist comments/memes/etc. about curry and fried chicken getting served at the White House that put these top of mind for Vance. IDK if it was deliberate dog whistling or the unintentional result of Vance steeping in blatant racism.
