Sinus infection and a tooth extraction at the same time. It's eepytime to get better. Leave recipes for your favorite squishy food.

Feel better, I sorta know the feeling, unfortunately. (Influenza and sinus infection) I waited 3 months to go in on the later, so coughing up phlegm like a factory lol.

Congee is the ultimate squishy sick food. Cook a cup of rice in 6-8 cups of liquid, with salt to taste, until completely broken down so it's thick and smooth. It's super versatile, can be made savory or sweet depending on the liquid you use to cook and any seasoning you want to add. I like it cooked in diluted coconut milk for a dessert base, then mix in raspberries and honey. Make it savory by cooking it in broth and topping with a soft boiled egg.

Love a good mashed potato. Boil until soft, mash with some butter/cream/milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Fantastic stuff.

My favorite recipe is Aleve-D and some water 😅

Cans of condensed chicken noodle soup is my mental and physical illness food. I keep a bunch of it in the cabinet. Having difficulty with solid foods? Soups got your back. Can't bear to scrape together the function to cook or order food? Worst case scenario, slap a can in a bowl and run the sink as hot as it goes to add the water if heating it's just too much to do

Samesies with the sinus infection hope it clears up for you soon. Hopefully your tooth extraction goes well. Brew some good tea, personally anise is good to brew for sickness. Eepytime helps the most, I think I slept for 13 hours today lol. Hope you get better!
