I eagerly await for the day SSDs take down spinning rusts last stronghold
We're still a long ways away when dealing with archival and backups. Spinning rust is still a fraction of the cost of SSD.
Tape is better for archival and backup purposes.
No it isn't. Tape has a whole different set of challenges.
