One thing I remember from 2020 was "actually Matt Yglesias is a POC because he's hispanic" discourse, and like you can have white hispanic colonizers! That's why the category is named after a European language!! 
The Moors were much better stewards of Iberia.
The message is accurate, but Matty would never be able to summon this kind of brevity.
How are we supposed to get 1 billion Americans??
