Trading Places. First time I saw that video I rewound it and watched it again. And again the next day. It was, and still is magnificent.
Home Video (VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, 4k)
On Reddit we have r/dvdcollection, r/boutiquebluray, r/4kbluray, r/steelbook, r/vhs, etc but let's start simply with a community to cover all the forms of home video collecting.
So, do you feel nostalgic for a format? Are you looking forward to a release? Heard any exciting news? Want to show us your shelves? Then post away.

There is a lot there, might tease a few of the big knew out into their own posts.
Unfortunately, the disc never appeared. Maybe some of those features will appear on the new 4K?
I bet they will, rarely does a good extra go to waste.
I didn't fancy all that typing on my tablet, so I did the lazy version. 😆
Can't blame you. I am still trying to figure out what I am most excited about - CT,HD steelbook sounds nice.
I found a very interesting comment regarding this over at Blu-ray.com under the announcement news.
Pre-ordered based on the description of the hours of new bonus features! The holdup with the announced, then pulled Yule Love It Edition was reportedly that due to the issues Murray and Donner had with each other making the film, and though announced and prepped, Murray refused to sign off on his likeness being used in the special features forcing the cancellation of the release. As much as I love Scrooged, another issue Murray, the screenwriter and others involved in the production had was that the script they signed on for was much more family friendly and quite different than the finished product we ended up with. My guess is with Donner passing, and some time, Murray changed his mind, making this release possible.
