On the one hand yes, he's perfectly free to do whatever he likes without judgment (as long as its legal). Although, one could argue it's rather eco unfriendly to ship all that food instead of eating the food that's been prepared in his all-inclusive hotel and thereby creating more waste.

On the other hand, somehow, the Daily Mail has found out about his plan and he's happily posed for or submitted photos to the paper. Having put himself deliberately in the spotlight I think he's ok with people talking about him.

I don't know if that deliberately going into the spotlight. If I do something unusual (which im sure I do) and some media outlet wants to make a big todo I might pose for the spotlight but I did not call the spotlight.

I don’t want to judge people, but I’m happy to make an exception in this case.

Gatekeeping food is lame. But ffs…

This isn't gatekeeping, it's celebrating! He has slightly let the side down on the Jaffa cakes but he knows he can get Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers anywhere.

I didn’t mean you guys. I was speaking of myself. I think gatekeeping food is lame. But this guy stretches my capacities for tolerance.

For a second I thought he'd brought the girl stuffed into a suitcase.

[–] Emperor 1 points 5 months ago

That's the second £300 suitcase.

I wonder if that woman knows she has spiders living on her eyelids.
