8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

idk, I think it's worth stopping to recognize how incredibly fucking weird it is how there's this whole segment of the population who spend an inordinate amount of their time and attention just absolutely obsessing over their hatred of trans people. Rowling is the public face of it but she's hardly alone.
You're absolutely right, I'm just not sure why Elon Musk's opinion is what makes this news.
Just goes to show how one-note she's gotten, that even the owner of the platform who's no SJW and desperate to ingratiate himself to celebs is like, "can you give it a rest already?"
I scrolled through her feed to see how long before that was her last non-trans-related tweet and gave up after two dozen.
If the irrational hatred of gay people is similar at all, these people are closeted trans people inflicting their hatred of themselves and their own feelings on the world. Probably.

The good thing about JK Rowling going mad on transgender stuff is that my wife will no longer request we watch any more godawful Fantastic Beasts movies.
I watched the first one and thought it was bad but not that bad. I really should've stopped there. It's actually kind of impressive that such shitty writing can get that level of funding. I know that it's for kids, but have a little respect for your kids' intelligence, people!
Isn't one of Elon's kids transgender? I'm sure even the nazi bar owner is a bit concerned about his kid's safety at some point.
Edit after additional thought, my guess is Elon sees having a trans kid as a personal failure so the constant reminder probably tears up his incredibly fragile ego.

Yes and she disowned him pretty much the moment she turned 18.
He, having been extremely anti-trans ever since his ex left him for Chelsea Manning, would never defend his daughter or even stop misgendering her.
