How prevalent is this? My impression was that this was tested on a limited scale then ended because it was unpopular. I might've confused it for something else though.
Haven't seen anything about them ending or removing these, but currently it looks like it's on a limited scale with a few different regions testing them.
Some are on large screens next to traffic cameras, others are installed under pedestrian crossing lights lol.

I think facial recognition can be very good but it may be a wise idea to have many restrictions until it is decided how it should be handled
