In multithreaded DCS I experience micro stuttering when looking (TrackIR) left or right, but only the terrain and buildings and stuff seem to be affected. The game is very smooth otherwise. Happens in multithreaded only. No VR.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I think so, but I haven't tried single threaded since the multi-threaded version came out. I do get that sort of effect occasionally in Nevada in the speed and Angels campaign

Probably insufficient system ram or video memory.
