Man, I really do miss Motorhead constantly touring all over the place.
I had tickets to see them as a friend was a mad Motorhead fan but it all got snowed off.
Damn, that's unlucky! I saw them several times, they would tour all the major places every year.
Luckily at the time I lived in Norwich - was always funny seeing bands billed, "London Brixton, Manchester O2, Motorpoint Arena, etc" then "Norwich, UEA LCR", which was a smallish venue at the university, with steps down to a mosh pit in front of the stage such people could stand 20-30m back and see over the crowd.
Yeah, I moved away, got busy, life happened, we lost touch and I never went because it's not like anything can kill Lemmy and I'll catch them on the next tour.
Ouch, yeah it seemed like he'd be around forever.
He looked the same on the Young Ones as he did quite late on in documentaries showing off his wall of knives. I presume he was pickled.
I probably still reference his White Lines about once a month.
