Do you think "still love the truck though" is like the Tesla owner's version of "in Minecraft" for people that don't want Elon Musk to personally/legally harass them?
I guess half the point of having a Tesla/Cybertruck is to be part of a 'group' with other Tesla fans. But they'll be so rabid if you don't reassure them of your dedication to the almighty suicide truck they'll tear you to shreds.
There's the cult aspect and there's also sunk cost fallacy. NFT guys have that same mentality where they'll only double down on shitting their pants to prove they didn't shit their pants but actually it's SUPER ACTUALLY COOL if they did.
Very true, they've reached a point where this scam is their whole personality so they're far beyond facing that they might have been wrong.
