What the fuck is happening at Gitlab? When I click I link I'm redirected to gitlab.com/users/sign_in and they will only show the destination link if I make an account. (hexbear.net)

Then I can search - https://github.com/search?q=bypass+paywalls&type=repositories

The problem is there are two pages of results.

Earlier today I created a new repo in github for a personal project, and for a second I thought "I hate that they scrape this for AI but at least it works"

Then I realized that gitlab most likely does all that AI shit but somehow even worse

I hope my code makes those models even worse

Just use codeberg for your personal projects, or notabug.

Or just self host if you don't plan on having any contributors and just need a personal git remote.
