I’ll give you the meta-generational answer:
Every generation has its people who just want to be trendy or quirky, usually to try and fit in when they feel uncomfortable or like an outcast.
Some of the best friends you’ll ever make are these people when you show them they can just be theirselves around you and introduce them to radical acceptance.
Especially because they’ve got weird things to try. Do it, weird things do you good. Trying new things is the antidote to time getting faster
