And they didn't even hit the guy they believed to be shooting at them. Don't get me wrong, it's good that he was not injured for nothing. But with all that blasting, they didn't even hit their target.

They usually don't. It's so often, "cop mag dumped. perp hit three times." Wouldn't be surprised if teen gang bangers had a higher hit % with drive-bys.

Half the time when they DO manage to hit something, it's a completely innocent person. And 99.993% of the time they won't have to pay a cent toward repairing the shit they broke while firing indiscriminately into a crowd.
