Source: an announcement by Carlson and video message on tuckercarlson.com; Newsweek

Quote: "We’re in Moscow tonight. We’re here to interview the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin. We’ll be doing that soon."

Details: Carlson said he had been preparing for the interview with Putin for several months.

The former TV presenter said that it would be posted on his website. He also noted that Elon Musk had promised not to block this interview with Putin on X (Twitter).

Interviewing might not be a bad idea. But only for the purpose of getting important information from Russia.

Ukraine needs to win this war.

If you think the Tucson isn't interviewing Putin to show his "good" side, then you don't know the Republicans.

It would shock, but not surprise me if this interview comes out and all it's nothing but softball questions and avoidance of the war crimes Putin is committing.

Putin wouldn't agree to be interviewed if it were anything but that.

I'm going to be shocked if this interview is anything other than Russian propaganda.

I wonder if there will be a couple Putin-approved "vaguely possibly anti-Putin" talking points allowed, for the sole purpose of avoiding that (obviously true) accusation. So the Fox News heads can say "Tucker has the balls to stand up to Putin, it's not propaganda!", and Putin still wins.

I don't know Fox has never been really subtle in that area.

Fox has literally nothing to do with this anymore.
