I have always found anime style character ages to be somewhat ambiguous

Why care? Its not a person? Are people nowadays not able to distinguish between a drawing and reality?

[–] Chriszz@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don’t really care I just find it hard to tell the age of a 16 year old anime character vs a 20 year old for example. They look the same. Children are different though and it’s pretty obvious when they’re a child unless they’re tall.

Yeah the distinction between the age of characters in their early 20s is pretty much nonexistent often. But as said its not even worth questioning it, the artist could roll a d20 for the age and it would be the same imagine regardless if the dice stops at 20 or at 1.

Kinda weird to spend your free time drawing naked teenagers.

Its not a "teenager" its a drawing. It doesn't even look like a person.

Your comments here are so terribly naive that I have trouble believing you are arguing in good faith.

Thats not a drawing then... Its literally hyperrealism and trained with real people.
