If only speaking from personal experience, many games nowadays have an almost implicit requirement to search up a "before I play" guide or a "beginner recommendations". If nothing else, many people want to Google "missables", to ensure that they can fully experience a game.

What is your recommended game that requires nothing but the player to be in the moment and enjoy the experience?

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

You'll be super tempted to (especially at the end of the introduction), but the game is so much more tense if you play it blind
