I mean, I agree that >!Kaede would have been a more interesting protagonist but I still liked Shuichi.!< I think it was a good twist and was generally handled well.

Also is the mastermind cheating in V3 really any different than when the mastermind in DR1 tried to >!frame Kyoko for a murder in order to get rid of her?!<
