Surely it would place a massive asterisk on all the trophies won during his time at Man City? In future discussions on the greatest manager would this be a talking point which stains our perception on him? Or will he still be lauded as the greatest by some despite the wider context?

Looks like no one care. Barca’s PR in the 2000’s was too good. They convinced (or to be exact: brainwashed) that they are the best, the light, the good football. Barca is more than a club, Pep invented the football, Messi in an angel and et cetra.

The brainwashing so strong people doesn’t even capable to hear that something is t correct. We saw the ref always helping them but no one care cuz bottom line is they “deserved” the win cuz they are the best and we all just need to say thank god for witnessing that wonder.

So Pep is “the humble” as opposed to Muriniho. Barca and City are corrupt but it’s ok, cus he asked the management and they told him it’s ok. It’s ok cus he is the best among the corrupt clubs.

Downvote me now if u are brainwashed and think Barca not corrupt, City are ok and the World Cup in Qatar was pure.

PR? 🤣🤣 There was no huge social media presence back then. What PR? The “more than a club” nick has been there for several decades! Some people hated Barca then and also called them boring…I wonder if you even followed it back then
