Surely it would place a massive asterisk on all the trophies won during his time at Man City? In future discussions on the greatest manager would this be a talking point which stains our perception on him? Or will he still be lauded as the greatest by some despite the wider context?

We all knew they were cheating even before he got there and he was part of various scandals, being it with referees, corruption, players, shady deals and so on, even from his time at Barcelona and even form his time as a player.

I never considered him the best manager. He is the one willing to do anything it takes and to make his hands dirty, yes.

Agree. He would never take on a lower half PL team, because he would be found out. They can't afford the bribes and rule breaking to secure success.

No, it's because he's way too good for any of them. He's even way too good for ol' Yanited, who have a shite Pep wannabee rn. Do you also cry that Messi and Ronaldo are frauds because they only played for the biggest richest clubs and that they would be found out at a smaller club?

Tbf, Fergie was the exact same way and he’s also often included in the conversation. Who do you consider the best? José?
