Yep, this is the one for me. Didn't just ruin the game, but retroactively ruined the series.

Yep, it's really amazing to think that they made a game that had only tangential "Same universe" links to the rest of the series that had a twist that managed to completely kill any and all story based tension in the entire series.

This is the winner. Omg, I’ve suffered through some really dumb twists in video game plots but this wins the ultimate crock of shit award.

I don’t know how the game ends because I never played any further than that stupid twist.

Agreed! It really threw me and my buddy for a loop, we were so excited. This always comes up as the best, most unexpected, twist in gaming for me.
