I am adamant that the Earth Defence Force was so bad it's good.

It's been a long time, and I don't remember the one I played, but once I found out there were more to the series after it (I don't remember if I played EDF 2017 or 2025 first) then I laughed for a few minutes straight, because for as much as I enjoyed the game it was a mindless space-bug shooter game in a flat world with tall but destructible buildings and terrible graphics, and I couldn't see how enough people could enjoy it for it to keep going but one was released like last year or something so it's still going and I kinda love that.
