I really liked Deathloop—I don’t think it was game of the year material, but it was fun and I don’t regret having purchased it as soon as it came out—but as soon as I got to the ending I was like “nnnnnno, this is stupid, this can’t be how it ends.” That was how it ended. I shut the game off and never went back to it.

I would also like to get spoiled.

!At the end the antagonist gave up and let you destroy the loop and everyone move on!< That's it

I thought the cutscene at the end was really fuckin dope though. ||And he didn't forget to rescue the AI!!||

The twist is that the main antagonist, Juliana, is the main character's daughter. There are two endings you can choose, killing her and breaking the loop(I didn't choose that one so don't really know how it resolves) or you can make amends with her and have fun times in an infinite time loop

Shooting Juliana is actually the true ending, though ultimately no one dies. I don't think you'll ultimately be satisfied by this ending either. It even leaves us with more questions about the state of the world. Also, keep in mind that everything after Cole says, "Here goes..." was added post-launch in a patch.

For me, the ending was a dumpster fire of disappointment, but the MAIN thing that turned me off on it was that there was only one singular 'true' route through the game. I felt it would have had much better -genuine- replayability if there would've been like... either a lot more potential bosses(But the same number of present bosses) and the routing varied based off of which bosses were seeded into the game when you started a new game(Complete with slightly varied map layout and content), OR the Ending route could be one of several different paths seeded when you started a new game.
