So what's the point of having an XBox then if you could theoretically buy a PS5 with Game Pass plus exclusives?

Thats what they want. They dont want to make an Xbox. They have never found out how to make a profit on the hardware.

Play Anywhere. I love that I can play a game on my PC while I’ve got Excel workbooks refreshing large datasets and then pick back up exactly where I left off on my Xbox later in the evening.
