Miraculously, the folks over on the Xbox sub would deny any increase in Game Pass price if you said exactly this while the torturous ATVI acquisition was underway.

Then Microsoft announced their intention to raise Game Pass prices in June.

Some folks don't realize that corporations are only as generous to their consumer base as they are required to be for continued profit and increased revenue year-over-year.

Sony also increased their prices recently and curtailed the sale of PS Plus subscriptions by third-party sellers. We're definitely in a race to the bottom.

It seems all of the streaming services are just betting on being the last one we unsubscribe from while the bombs they're riding like cowboys rapidly approach the ground.

Why would having GP on every screen eliminate all competition? Because it’s a better service? Sony is still free to create their own service and bring it to all consoles.
