As much as people are freaking out about it, I think the arts are going to be safe from ai for quite some time yet. Ai for the foreseeable future can only remix existing art, but can't actually create anything new.

Honestly, I think the people handling graphics, sound, story and overall design aren't going to have to worry about their jobs anytime soon. The coders on the other hand might be in trouble.

You vastly vastly vastly overestimate how many artists create unique work as a part of their job.

But if an artist creates at least 1 unique piece in their entire life, that's 1 more unique work than all of ai has collectively created up to this moment. There's a giant difference between mostly derivative and only derivative.

From what is out there currently AI coding is comically bad. It is going to change of course, but right now art/voiceovers is the lowest hanging fruit for AI.
