Stepping out of the cave for the first time in Breath of the Wild and looking out across the Great Plateau while the music swells.

Taking the elevator down to Rapture for the first time in Bioshock.

I’m sensing a pattern here lol

The twist moment in BioShock has always stuck with me. It's a great metagaming moment where you as the player have to face your actions and choices, even if momentarily.
