It was supposedly almost completely done, but were forced to can the entire project due to politics and studio meddling. Now all that remains is a single trailer. Then the higher-ups took the name and slapped it on a new IP, which became Prey(2017).

Then along came a movie named "Prey", featuring an American native and aliens. That trailer fooled me so much, it had to be intentional.
