Agree, but CP is as much a part of this problem as Foster is. At this point CP is basically baiting him into dishing out techs and this time Foster bit. There's no debate that CP deserved the first tech and if CP had just STFU, there never would have been another, but when you keep pointing and cussing at the ref after he tells you to stop this is what happens.
I think that's a pretty fair take. I do think players should be given more grace than refs though; players have adrenaline pumping and are more likely to act out because of that, but the refs should mostly remain professional. Obviously that doesn't mean they should be demeaned or take inappropriate shit from players, but they should be able to keep their professionalism and composure when players chirp at them.
Refs take too much shit in basically every sport except rugby.
