Is the apple watch safe to be used in a hot sauna ? (alien.top)

Hi

I normally take my watch off when going to the hot sauna and steam room, however I noticed some people come in wearing their apple watches, I keep wondering if this is safe especially for the battery to be exposed to such high temperatures and for the watch electronics overall ?

I still think it is unsafe but correct me if I’m wrong

I use it.. twice a week. So far, no issues. I will keep it using, if a watch can’t survive a sauna I will just quit wearing one.
