Is the apple watch safe to be used in a hot sauna ? (alien.top)

Hi

I normally take my watch off when going to the hot sauna and steam room, however I noticed some people come in wearing their apple watches, I keep wondering if this is safe especially for the battery to be exposed to such high temperatures and for the watch electronics overall ?

I still think it is unsafe but correct me if I’m wrong

Well I guess it’s not recommended, but I used to wear my S4 in the sauna 4x a week prior to COVID when my gym had one. Never ran into any problems so far, even after I started going back several times per month. No major battery or connection issues yet
