- Democracy, human rights, civil liberties and due process Neoliberals can be found in many political parties and we are not dogmatic supporters of specific parties. But we tend to find ourselves agreeing more often with parties that espouse liberal values, internationalism and centrist economics, such as the Democrats in the US, Liberal Democrats in the UK, FDP in Germany, Renaissance/MoDem in France, the Liberal Party in Canada, and so on. **Further reading** - I’m a neoliberal. We need to convince more of our fellow shitlibs to make the jump from reddit. But until then... horrifying as it is, we'll need to keep posting content ourselves.
There are some pretty militant pro-reddit users in that sub, that just seem to love the reddit app and have no problem with anything that's gone down there.
Unfortunately, the sub has a real problem with knee-jerking against whatever the majority of redditors are doing. So if most redditors are against the API changes, some users are gonna reflexively defend the company just to be contrarian. One of the more frustrating aspects of the community which I hope doesn't get ported over here if/when the migration starts in earnest.
