Got round to watching Altered Carbon on Netflix. The first season was okay, although it added a bunch of unnecessary filler and characters that weren't in the book. Just started season 2, which I assume is based on the second book (haven't read that one). The plot can be quite daft at times, but I'm enjoying it - feels like an old sci-fi B movie.
I rather enjoyed season 1 but, yes, it is a bit silly. Never did get around to season 2. For no real reason.
The 1st book felt a lot more intelligent in the way it was written, compared to the show - I'd recommend it.
Righto, I am still working through my to-read tower before it topples over and kills me but I might grab a copy and try and reverse Jenga it in.
