It looks like it was ai upscaled. Zoom into the letters or the rounded corners of the picture. It's easier to spot that way.

yeah I did some digging and one of the earlier posts I found of this was back in april 21 and it was much smaller. Definitely seems to be upscaled. Certainly looks fake when you zoom in on this. The Soviet flag actually looks worse in this compared to the other image I saw.
