I'm going to miss many of them, I'm a real reddit junkie. But I'm leaving tonight and don't expect to be back.
Most missed: Witches vs. Patriarchy. Can't seem to find a lemmy equivalent.
Edit: my first comment!
WvP was the first thing I searched for! I donβt feel comfortable creating the space until Iβm more familiar with how this site functions :/
We will get there, my sister!
lemmy.ml/c/witches
If you link another way it will take non-lemmy.ml users to the right place without taking them off their instance:
Good:
[/c/witches@lemmy.ml](/c/witches@lemmy.ml)
*EDIT: apparently this isn't exactly right. This can crash some links and in some contexts. Sorry, I'll try to update once I learn what the heck the "right" way to do it is. * VsLess good:
[Lemmy.ml/c/witches](Lemmy.ml/c/witches)
Can this be pinned somewhere?
Very helpful! Is there a way to do this with posts?
Oh I see, thank you!
Hey so that top link happily crashes Mlem :)
Dagnabbit! Also crashes Jerboa. Oops...
Okay, so i don't know anymore and if someone could educate what the best way to link a community on another instance in the way that doesn't take you off your instance, and works on apps and other platforms like MLEM, that would be super swell! I'm going to remove my links for now.
Thanks this will be super helpful. It's kinda confusing and I need all the help I need.
You should consider making one here. :)
I was the biggest Reddit junkie, it was a problem. Having to go cold turkey has been strange. But what can you do. I'll miss Best of Redditor Updates. Even though that sub was undoubtedly filled with many fake stories and stressful comment sections that it's probably for the best it goes away for a while.
