im thinking of getting an ereader, but cant find many foss devices. i dont plan on connecting it to the internet, so i suppose it doesnt matter if its controlled by amazon right? love to hear your thoughts...

Been using Kobo for a decade and admittedly they were a bit shit to start with. Poor build quality and slow OS

Recently got a new one and they've improved massively. Way more solid, much better performance, and still no need to be connected to anything, just load up epubs and go
