Hardest decision ever imo. But when it comes down to a choice between one's own emotions, I think you did the right thing in choosing what's best for the dog. Hugs.

Hugs. It's the toughest decision to ever make. One day they'll make a dog that lives as long as we do, so we never have to say goodbye. 🐾

💔 It may be the best decision for our furry friends but it doesn't hurt any less because of that. I hope the love and devotion put into that painful decision carries you through the next few days.
