people are afraid of parasitic larvae and eggs. but once healthy safety, taste and apperance are controlled and industrialized properly, insects could be an interesting alternative. no more eating those beautiful shrimps, fished with gas guzzling fishing boats, and no more methane emitting cows
That's the thing I find baffling and why I had no problem with insects. People eat shrimp. People go out of their way to eat crab and lobster. What's the big difference other than one being in water and the other being on land? Size?
yea man, its sad. also half the mass of a fished crab lies in the shell, such a waste and a crime to kill such a beautiful creature. A creature that lays eggs in the thousands and doesnt require much energy to fish around would be the best and most climate friendly source for nutrients
