Rafflesia is a great nickname for Bulbasaur!
"Decaff the Sleepy" is great! I never understood marks at first. Definitely wasted a lot of nickname opportunities.
I've noticed that I struggle to remember species in later games if I give them nicknames too! I tend to do at least one run without giving any nicknames so I can learn the game. Glad to know i'm not the only one like this 😂
