These people have the memory of a goldfish and Trump is such an ideological mercenary that he'll do whatever nets him the most money and prestige and back in 2020 that was stopping the pandemic.

I really think it's down to the timing of when vaccines became available. The Pfizer mRNA vaccine that was partially developed through operation warp speed was first made available in the UK in December of 2020. I think in the US in February of 2021?

Well yeah Biden had already won the election in the tail end of 2020 and was president in 2021. To the average uninformed reactionary it looked like Biden rolled out the vaccines, despite development and funding happening with Trump.

Pfizer vaccines were available in the US in waves starting with frontline workers in I believe December of 2020.
