My dad's always been an anti-intellectual prick but now he's a smug one having his worst impulses reinforced by assholes on the internet and his workplace.

Uh, my parents are still garden variety libs, watching billionaire mindset "Diary of a CEO" and all that.

I can convince them that the Global South's rise is good and that western finance capital's domination (read shareholders and lenders) is bad, but at the same time, they have this Putin-bad mentality, and are still pro-Trudeau (they treat him as a lesser-evilism, lmao)
