for decades superhero and scifi flicks have been covering flying vehicles and iron man suits etc. in brilliant lights to indicate how powerful and futuristic they are
If you see what looks like an airliner flashing it's lights, that means the drone is about to hit your city with Independence Day (1996) demolition rays
