We have this same couch!! It's so good! It's in its third house - it is so versatile, being able to change the ends of the L shape. We had it in the above orientation in the last house, but when we moved to the present place, we flipped the L to the other side because it works better in the new room.
The only complaint about it is it's not easy to wash. You need to hire something (You can use the Bunnings carpet cleaner with upholstery attachment) to clean it. You have a while before you need to worry about that though.
Oh, neat! On second sittings today, I've decided it's not that uncomfortable. I like my couches a bit more soft and squishy though. I'm thinking after sufficient use though, the foam or whatever it is might lose a bit of its oomph and be a bit more sinky
I thought the reconfigurable L is a good idea, but it annoys me that one side will never have an armrest
By the way, have you ever used the mattress/comforter thing or whatever it is? Since it also rolls up to be the long cushion and is a bit of a pain to put back in solo, I'm thinking it might be a hell of a lot easier to just buy a second one or something similar and store in the chaise thingy if it gets used as a bed really any more often than once a year or so
