To establish enough commodity production to meet the needs of the population, and distribute it accordingly. That's really the whole end goal. Socialism is the means to achieve that.

More prescient medium-term goals are mitigating the effects of climate collapse and to decolonize the Global South. How do I contribute to those, as someone who lives in the Global South? By joining a union and buying a gun, basically.
