MODERATORS

Regina George is riding a bright pink tank. Emblazoned on the tank is the Hexbear logo and the words "Look at this dope ass bear". Above the tank are written the words "get in loser!" and below that the words "We're developing a pretty basic materialist understanding of history based on reading books that weren't written by anti-communist cold warriors and for some reason that's going to piss everyone off and short circuit their brains".

Where?

I've heard people say that dialectical materialism is a cool tool for understanding the world. So people learning that wouldn't be losers, but you're making them winners or more positive, right?

"Get in the car loser! We're going shopping!" Is from a movie called "Mean Girls" that had a ton of cultural impact about 20 years. The meme format is usually "get in the car loser!" And then something relevant to whatever joke is being made. It is not intended to imply that the audience are losers, it's good natured ribbing.

Aah. Sorry then.
I haven't watched the movie. Have seen the meme phrase used on the net.

It's a very solid movie about conformity, identity, celebrity, vengeance. Check for cws: it's got some sketchy racist stuff and other problems that are typical of early oughts movies. It's a very important cultural touchstone for a lot of millenials.
