This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

was he doxxed or did he have worse opsec than that guy who put his own ssn on billboards?

Why would doxxing and harassing threaten you off the internet?

(hidden for mention of SA)

spoilerI've been doxxed and sent a rape threat to my younger sister by a neo-nazi.
I just sent him back a picture of my shotgun. Didn't hear much back.

I can understand the fear, the anxiety, etc but 99% of the time they just do it to cause exactly that; intimidation. Ignoring that either causes them to act up on their plans or give up entirely. Showing them you can defend yourself usually dissuades any chances of acting.

Opsec is always important, always, always, always. I just feel like if you're high-enough profile, getting doxxed/harassed is almost inevitable no matter what politics you carry.

IIRC he wore a mask and used a voice changer because he was a lawyer so online extremism would cost him his job. Which is why he had to drop his YT channel after being doxxed.

Having a high-professional job like that makes sense then. That is awful. Did he end up keeping his job then I'd assume? If ya lost it at that point..might as well keep going, ya know?

No idea what happened after he disappeared, sorry!

after being doxxed.

i thought he used a reddit account where he had posted pii before starting the channel. idk how kids use the term now but in my day looking at someone's post history wasn't doxxing.

Sorry, I must be wrong then! I never looked into this, that's just what I remember reading back then.

Opsec is the most important. That said, I do agree people take internet death threats way too seriously. I know it only takes one crazy person from hundreds to get you, but they are as cheap to send as a picture of a pig pooping.
