My partners' hairdressers always complained about how I trimmed it for them especially at first...so maybe no steady hand required but maybe I just suck at it kitty-cri-potato

Nah, your hairdresser probably just nit picks because they see hair all day and notice the details. To most people it probably looked fine

what the owl said, but also you cutting your partners' hair isn't exactly great for the hairdressers' business. its like netflix telling you not to pirate lmao

True, that 5 minute clean up for $60 is probably their bread and butter. And although I definitely value their work and feel like they deserve to be paid fairly for it, we definitely could not afford to do that every couple of weeks
