Remember the majority of the population of Palestine are teenagers or younger too, so it's mostly kids being killed now.

Because of human shields
I hate to be the reasonable one, especially on Lemmy where anti-Israel propaganda is just so hot right now, but it's both.
Israel is committing genocide, its horrible and disgusting. Hamas was/is very intentionally using civilians as shields. Israeli leadership and Hamas are both monsters. Their proxy backers, like Iran and the US, also share blame.
